A Reverie Amid Science

This study aims to reflect the relation between Philosophy and research development in nursing. The election of the literary work - Discourse on Method - was made among the philosophical litetaure studied through free textual organization. The option of Decartes' work was based in discoursive form used by the author to, in a narrative, do his autobiography and; by the perception and racionalization of the universe defended by him. In this perspective, the reflection
is through a dialogue between the author and Descartes' writings and it is a matter for the defense of the philosophical thought in the development of scientific method.
