Abstract

Objective: to analyze publications that focus on the use of telemonitoring by nurses in the management of patients confirmed by COVID-19. Methodology: integrative literature review, carried out from January to June 2020, in the following databases: MEDLINE; CINAHL; LILACS; EMBASE; Web of Science and Google Scholar. Results: 16 studies were included for discussion, whose textual analyzes allowed the construction of three thematic categories: the usage of telemonitoring in health care, the implementation of telemonitoring process adapted to the lived reality and the appliance of protocols and guidelines based on experiences. Conclusion: telemonitoring is evidenced as an effective strategy in nursing care aimed at optimization of human and material resources; protection of health users and preservation of teams and communities.
