Experiências de alunos de enfermagem durante estágios clínicos em saúde mental

Resumo

Objetivo: Explorar os sentimentos, as percepções e as experiências de estudantes de enfermagem em Unidades de Saúde Mental durante seus estágios clínicos. Métodos: estudo qualitativo. Amostra intencional de 81 estudantes de graduação em enfermagem matriculados na unidade curricular de prática clínica em Unidades de Saúde Mental. Um fórum de discussão dinâmico foi incorporado durante os estágios. Os fóruns foram analisados por meio de uma análise de conteúdo. Resultados: Foram realizados 6 fóruns com um total de 604 participações, com uma média de 100. Surgiram seis categorias: compreensão da doença mental, intervenções de enfermagem, estigma, relacionamento terapêutico, convivência com a doença mental, aprendizado. Considerações finais: Os estereótipos negativos, a vergonha e o estigma impostos pela sociedade são obstáculos que os alunos precisam superar. Uma metodologia que os acompanhe durante a prática leva a um processo de reflexão, integrando as crenças e os valores das pessoas, aplicando o conhecimento e o julgamento clínico.
